Please pass this! My kids are homeschooled and we love sports

Everyone pays taxes for the public schools so everyone should be able to participate

hoping my homeschool athletes will be treated fairly on school teams!

My taxes pay for this stuff. My kids should be able to enjoy it.

I support this man who chooses to serve God rather than man.

Homeschooled children deserve the right to play organized sports during the school year, not just summer league. All people living in out state pay taxes to support our schools whether our children attend them or not. Why not allow them to enjoy one aspect of the schools to which we contribute?

Home schooled parents still pay taxes and school levies even though their kids get no benefit. There's not one single good reason why any child in school, regardless of whether at home, in a private institution, or public warehouse...I mean school house, should not be allow to particapate in school events. Not just sports but all school events. Otherwise, those parents should receive a tax break.

This should be the case everywhere. As home owners, we pay taxes that support the school, yet the schools don't support us. And they are missing out on some great athletes, like my son, because they don't want to recognize homeschool as being in school.

My children are homeschooled and deserve the opportunity to participate. My husband and I pay taxes the same as those whose children attend public school!

All kids should be given this opportunity. Including home schooled children!

No child should be left behind for any reason at all!

This would be a wonderful thing! I personally know children who are homeschooled, and are very bright. I believe participation of a teamed sport inside the school system would give them endless opportunities down the road.

Home and private school kids should be allowed to play sports in the public school system, as long as they meet the same grade point average that public school students are required. Whether or not our children attend public schools, we are all paying county,state and federal taxes that a percentage of goes toward public education. Home school and Private school parents don't get tax deductions for the fees paid for uniforms or books. So they should be allowed to participate in other activities such as sports
