This petition concerns the recent comments by Steven Cohen, of Work Soccer Daily & Fox Soccer Channel, regarding his bigoted opinions on the Hillsborough tragedy.
Monday, April 13, 2009 - "“People showing up without ticket, hell bent in getting into somewhere where they shouldn’t be going because they don’t have tickets, is the root cause of [the Hillsborough Disaster].” His hatred for LFC gives him license to say whatever he likes. He has even made jokes comparing the recent 20th anniversary events to a cow.
Mr Cohen is seemingly aware of the bigotry of his comments as he admitted that "If I were to say these things in the UK...I'd be lynched"
This petition seeks to place pressure on the companies that fund and support Steven Cohen's bigotry, through sponsorship of his radio and TV programs, by boycotting their products and services. We'll be continuing this campaign until the families of the 96 receive a full and unmitigated apology.
