I’m a professional cyclist that’s lived here my whole life. I’ve trained in that area riding my mtb bike. Definitely can’t have a high way for through and destroy the beauty and peace.

Keep St. George beautiful and sacred. We don’t need to be another concrete jungle.

We need to cherish our lands while we still can. Putting in these roads risks more development, damaging the lands and the wildlife. I stand up for our beautiful lands because it cannot stand up for itself.

This is just a way for land developers to make money. First comes the roads, then houses, then whole cities. The road isn’t worth it!

I live in Southern Utah and believe we do not have the right to infringe upon the habitat of this endangered tortoise. We need to protect this tortoise for future generations to see and enjoy. We don’t have the right to drive the species of tortoise to extinction just for the shear want of getting to a destination easier and quicker. A little inconvenience to save this species from extinction is well worth it!

Everything good about St George is being destroyed. Lava fields ripped up, every bit of ground growing huge apartment buildings, no where for wild life to go and now they want to rape the desert preserve.

Close this door and a whole future of doors will close, this could be the only chance with the rapid increase in population and as referenced the private land that surrounds could turn into anything

Let’s keep the natural beauty and help save the lives of the creatures in the Mojave dessert. So much of this earth has been used and abused for human benefit let’s not allow it to happen again

This is not a good idea. Other options should be explored!
