There is an old arena and Southampton arena. Move everything around and generate more money for the town by keeping ice year round

I know my neices get a huge amount of joy, physically excersise, and confidence skating . The rink is the place they love to be at most.

Yes we have so many hockey teams, figure skaters, and just people that would enjoy skating in the spring summer and winter

There is a high demand for Year round ice...many of our local skaters travel to Oweb sound and other communities to summer skate

Great idea. These sports are very expensive and having ice year round at home for these kids is a big help and may be the difference for some whether or not they can continue to afford to play. Great idea.

Seeing as our municipality is already short on ice surfaces, the least we could do is keep one open year round.
