What a disaster!!! The gems of Belgian culture are disappearing from view due to the lack of national funding and interest, yet the world-wide community couldn't be more supportive! This must be fixed!!

It is simply a disgrace, it does not solve anything at all. It means that the federal institutions will disappear completely from view. It only shows that politicians have no brains whatsoever, let alone any affinity with art.

notre patrimoine culturel, la richesse d'un peuple, connaître son passé pour mieux comprendre son devenir, toutes ses choses tellement importantes auxquelles personnes ne pourrait toucher, on a besoin de voir, de savoir, d'apprendre, de connaître, rien ne vaut un déplacement sur place. Je trouve tout simplement honteux qu'on s'en prenne à des institutions qui ont pour but l'enseignement. A quand la suppression de la scolarité

Cultural patrimony is the treasure of Belgium and should be nurtured and supported in scholarly research as well as museum display.
Italy too has been undergoing a systematic dismantling of its heritage protection system but budget cuts, staff reduction and legislation reforms

On peut en cas de crise économique restreindre son train de vie (nourriture, habillement). Par contre, pour la qualité profonde, essentielle de vie d'une société, les sciences et la culture sont fondamentales !
