took 10 years for my dx by a nurse practicioner. went to a nuerologist 5 yrs ago barely able to walk and in crippling pain. she said nothing was wrong with me. walked in the np's office and she said right the i had PD. she's been treating me for the last 4 1/2 yrs. More awarness for this disease definetly needs to be recoginized!

I have a close relative and friend suffering this appalling disease. All efforts to bring this to the forefront are welcomed and encourage more funding to help all those affected.

More study and further development of the present trial needs much more funding. Public awareness needs to be increased ,perhaps a news article on tv would bring more awareness to the wider audience.

Parkinson's disease is a slow, creeping, corroding, sapping condition that inevitably draws in the sufferer and carer. This needs all the publicity it can get in order to help those who have it to see what is available to help them, from medication to Deep Brain Stimulation devices.I want to see all information freely available so that the choices can be made early on, soon after the initial diagnosis.
