We all suffer from MSK injuries that often end our careers.

We must get legislation on working conditions in the field. We must also legislate who can perform exams!!!

Just like Xray has to reduce their number of exams due to.radiation, ultrasound should have a limit that employers can enforce their employees to scan due to injuries.

I am a sonographer with 35+ years in the field. I am one looking at early retirement due to chronic pain issues from repetitive work injuries.

11 years of echo-vascular scanning. Daily pain. Very concerned that an arm/shoulder injury will end my career. Too many portable exams, increased obesity rates, and more ultrasounds being ordered. Exam limits need to be put in place & therapeutic massage and chiropractic care should be included in our health benefits.
