I am now disabled due to 25 years of scanning. Please make changes so sonographers can provide this service for patients that really need these exams. I scanned it pain for more than 10 years and am facing 2 major spine surgeries. Help us help you. Thank you and good luck to all of you still scanning.

I have been a sonographer for 15 years and have severe pain every day. I have, on a few occasions, tried to leave the field and have even taught to give my body a rest. I keep going back. It would be so helpful to have a cut-off number of exams to save our bodies. It used to be that workplaces properly staffed so we weren't doing double digit exams but those days are long gone. Some regulation is needed!

This abuse of power needs to stop. Also getting called in all night without sleep and expected to work the next day is unacceptable as well. They need to have more around the clock access to ultrasound to avoid burn out and an unsafe environment for techs and patients

Administration looks at machine availability not the Sonographers skill expertise and body. We are being asked to do more again with less time. More detail and with COVID-19 clean clean clean. No additional staff for backlogs. Where I work management is top heavy. Can that be converted to patient care dollars and not bonuses and injured bodies? There is no one to pick up our life if we are injured I am not in professional sports and weighing the odds. I am in healthcare Hoping to make a difference and make it to retirement in one whole functioning piece. Thankyou

I've been doing echo for 26 years. I now suffer from severe tendonitis in my scanning hand. Our bodies have limitations. We are not robots. Even machines have to replace parts over time.
