Having had children swimming at Droitwich Swimming Club for over 10 years, I feel an 8 lane pool which would allow county galas to take place in Worcs would be v beneficial for increased uptake of swimming at competition level. Especially important is for the new facility to have the necessary spectator provision.

worcestershire need a competitive swimming pool. Why should worcester county championships be held in wolverhampton. This is a long way to travel for most teams in worcestershire and the children are probablt exhausted before they even swim.

Anything less than a 400 spectator/8 lane pool demonstrates a lack of vision for an aspiring sporting city

Spectator seats can make £6-800 per day/event we find in Hereford. On top of that with an 8 lane pool you maximise income from lessons, club hire, school hire and public use. The seating and additional lanes make commercial sense.

The county needs a new modern 8 lane pool to supply both learn to swim and competitive swimming requirements for elite, school and masters swimming.

Worcester desperately needs investment in a new pool. The current facilities are truly dreadfull and without new investment there is the danger that there will be nowhere suitable in the area for the Worcester Swimming Club to train.

We need to improve and move on from the 6 lane pool we already have. Worcester is a growing city and the wsc need to be competitive enough to hold regional/national competitions

To be be in the same league as other city's in this country we need a pool to be proud of, especially if as reported we are to bid for the European City of culture. The Benifits of a full size competition pool in this area will only improve the community and the standard of swimming in the county

We need this pool, as a city that is surrounded by water, both rivers, canals and quarry's to not have a suitable pool to people to learn to swim and then go on to compete would be a detriment to the city and we will be left failing the future generation. We will also risk losing valuable income/tourism a competition pool would bring to Worcester.
