These kids need to have some good recreational things to do and they are the ones running us parents to the concession stand to spend more money

I have never seen a school take such action. These children should be able to attend these games to cheer on there team & represent them. I'm a former Woodland Hills student and I've attended many games especially one I was 14 & up and I dont think my parents would've wanted to have to escort me to a game at the age. Who thought of this?!

This is absurd. To punish all because of a few and remove the entire opportunity to have a student section will not help. This is an opportunity to give kids a positive outlet and option to occupy their time, without it you will just compound any problems you are trying to prevent.

Without a student section whats the point of students attending the games? As a 1996 alumni, some of my fondest memories are from going to the games with my firends to only still with all my friends that were in the student section because all 300 of us couldn't fit in one car! Keep the student section!!!!!

This is ridiculous!!! Kids can attend the school, play the sport but they can't go to the games without an adult!?!? Don't punish the whole for the acts of a few.

The point of high school football is that high school students can attend and cheer on their school. Requiring 'adult supervision' by an 18 year old+ not only makes it hard for high school students to attend, it will make adults not want to attend and have to feel like they are babysitting their kids.

It's my daughter's senior year and I have 2 young kids so I can't go to all the games. And for her to have to miss out on her senior year is crazy. You should at least let the seniors in.

High school football games are part of the fiber of the American experience. So many of us have such fond memories of sharing school spirit and pride with our friends on Friday Nights. These coming of age experiences have influenced poetry, novels, movies and television shows. To take away the opportunity for students to gather together in support of their peers, is like taking turkey away from Thanksgiving or fireworks from July 4. It is wrong. Our young adults must be given opportunities to act in an appropriate manner in all situations. Those that do not rise to the challenge should face consequences of course but to remove this slice of our culture from all is reactionary and unnecessary. Our district leaders visited the White House this summer and were praised for setting an example to other districts for their new discipline policy. A proud moment indeed for Woodland Hills. The decision to exclude those under 18 from football games saddens me and even is cause for embarrassment when questioned by those in other districts. The policy must be discontinued.

I have been attending most if the games for years. This is absurd. These are high school kids and they should be able to attend the games without their mommies. Have we no pride in our school that this has to happen? Whatever group came to this conclusion,know that you made our district look like fools. We are not a district full of bad kids. Shame on you!

I believe that as long as the students remain and abide within the rules and guidelines of the Wolverines policy. There is no reason to banish their existence on being independent at these games. For goodness sake, These kids have little to nothing to do as It is now.
