This rule is unfair to the kids who have uninvolved parents. Just because a parent doesn't want to attend shouldn't stop the kids from enjoying the game. I have attended every game ( both home and away ) for the last 7 years these are good kids.Maybe the rule shouls apply to younger kids but not the high school kids who are there to cher for the peers.

We've never had any incident at our games. What sense does it make to have highschool games where the student body cant attend without a parent. And no ticket sales at the gate?

The student code of conduct revolves around Prompt, Prepared, Polite, Productive, and PROUD. Going to football games is a rite of passage for high school students, There needs to be a rethinking of this policy.

not fair to the kids who actually support the football team. I lived directly behind the home side of stadium on chestnut. Loved going to games and loved seeing all the people and how crowded it got for WH. Def should let the kids back in who support their team. The others go back home and be disruptive!!

As a Alumni & parent of current WHSD students I find this new policy ludicrous. High School football is mainly supported by its peers. This is HS football...Last time I checked to attend this school district you must be between the ages 5 & 20? So why are you alienating all except 18 & up unless supervised. Most of HS football biggest fans are 14-17 and are enrolled in your school. A lot of Woodland hills funding goes towards our football team why can't our children who attend that school participate, if not why even have a team? I have spent the past 14 yrs defending this school district saying it's not as bad as the media has made it. This allows room for one to wonder about our kids. If they are unable to attend their own games they must be monsters! NOT!! Come on WH...this is their school too, these kids are your "Wolverines" & they ARE the school spirt, why take that away?

Okay the students can be there but the violence needs to end if we need to get extra security or more adults to help with that I'm all in this. But most of the games rehire is a fight and drama and that isn't supposed to happen at a game. So can we find a way to help the security guards and the directors and principals and police officers and everyone else cause they want to enjoy the game not break up fights. Everyone should be checked for weapons in purses and bags and whatever else and the bleachers should be check before the game and after.

This is an outrage. First of all are children are not thugs nor are they criminals or unruly so stop portraying this atmosphere to the rest of the World.
The Woodland Hills students love to show and support the football team. This is not only part of growing up it is also what high school memories are made of.
Also why wasn't parents informed of this. finding this out via phone message and media was just wrong. I do understand that you are trying to keep the students safe but this is not the way.
