Currently too dangerous, encouraging people to ignore the restrictions and overtake through the middle.

I have lived in this area for 10 years and find this width restriction completely unnecessary and seen several accidents as a result-it should be removed

I avoid these restrictions at all costs as I don't want to damage my car they are definitely too narrow.

Let's hope the suits at Highways show some common sense for a change!

It's ok to discourage commercial vans however the 3 bars makes it difficult for even family cars. I think if the 3 bars are reduced to 1 bar like on Tudor Avenue and wrapped with non scratching material to not damage cars it should still solve the purpose and not become dangerous to family cars.

My son drove through and damaged his car to the tune of £800. The steel posts were not straight.

Any vehicles wishing to speed use the bus lane so it's the people going through these correctly that are the only ones penalised here. There should be camera enforcement on the bus lane. Any speeding vehicle becomes unaware of pedestrians crossing near the bus stop as they are too busy concentrating on going through the middle. It's a further accident waiting to happen. A vehicle is damaged every day using the width restrictions correctly. Either the vehicle is dented or paintwork scratched from the very tight bollards or any deviation and the wheel catches the high kerb causing the steering column of the car to twist and the car is no longer drivable. The situation definately needs readdressed.

Need to be removed and replaced with ANPR cameras that could automatically charge any HGV's that are not allowed to go through. How long before a pedestrian is hit by flying debris. In the current state they are pointless as there is no enforcement of the bus lane at all.

Too many accidents, accepted minor, have occurred at this location. The problem is that there are three sets of bollards in a row so any deviation will cause an accident.

Ridiculous design, cars frequently damaged negotiating the raft of badly placed and unforgiving bollards. Waste of police time attending cars that frequently get stuck. Many cars use the bus lane. Along with many others, I now avoid using the width restriction , causing additional pollution and exacerbating traffic issues on the A41, Dome Roundabout and the link road.

Our cars get damaged, vans & lorries go through the middle gate. Remove this monstrosity!

Whilst cars continue to go through the centre at speed it is a further accident waiting to happen if it hasn’t already. If there is no monitoring of the restriction it is a total waste of time.

Should be removed completely.

They are dangerous and pointless, as you have to slow down there for the traffic lights or the dangerous sharp edged speed bumps, that nearly break your wheels off.
