When driving through it I find the width restriction is too narrow, too long and the kerbs are too high. Also walking my dog beside it when a car goes through I worry about a collision and potential injuries from the metal.

The width restriction is far too narrow. I have seen two white vans scrape their sides whilst I have been going in the opposite direction. Please remove them.

The width of this is far too narrow. I drive a small car and can barely fit through it. Those in larger cars simply cannot get through this causes many issues/ vehicle damage and delays. This is completely unnecessary.

the posts are to low to see and you do not have to negotiate one set but three they are malicious and dangerous
people avoid them putting more unnecessary pressure on the link road and Bushey Mill Lane
the width restrictions work perfectly well in Tudor Avenue

My son caught our car on the width restrictions on Saturday - the posts are too low to see properly and to judge the width effectively!!

It is wrongly designed and should be either removed or rebuilt to enable greater visibility of the posts.
I have avoided this road for the last 8 years since this dangerous eyesore was installed.

I have personally observed numerous accidents here and the restriction is repeatedly abused. Please change.

This width restriction is so dangerous
It’s to narrow, it should be like Tudor Avenue
7ft wide & with 2 posts only either side,
You don’t see the fire brigade & police at Tudor Avenue width restrictions,
That’s because it’s works,
I’m a Driver of over 40 years of experience
and nowhere have I ever seen anything so badly designed as this width restriction,
So enough of all the talk & smashed cars let’s move forward & redesign this width restriction,

The fact that these bollards are square and not rounded actually increases vehicle damage!

I have worked in all country and never come a cross to such a restriction.
In my opinion technology can do much better job other than going through this barriers .
I have witness family car stacked in middle and van also.

No point in having a triple narrow width restriction that everyone avoids by using the bus lane.

Well done Carly Bishop this situation has gone on for far too long. Let’s hope Hertfordshire County Council finally come to their senses and remove these lethal bollards. Shocking to see how many cars are damaged on a daily basis.

Hertfordshire County Council are missing a trick. They should remove the bollards, widen the width restriction and put up a camera. The revenue made from vehicles illegally using the bus lane plus the money saved by the emergency services not having to attend cars that are jammed could be put towards repairing our roads.

I regularly see cars badly damaged on the posts. It’s ludicrous that nothings been done. Far too small for the modern day cars
