Woodlake Corporate Park Petitions to Add Traffic Light at Entrance

This will be tremendously helpful!

I've felt for a while that having a traffic light would significantly increase the safety of exiting onto route 53. This would truly benefit staff in terms of both efficiency and peace of mind.

This light is so terribly needed so many dangerous accidents have happened here and more will continue to happen if we don’t have a light !

I feel I put my life on the line every time I go to make a left hand turn onto Route 53 from Woodlake Corporate Park. We need this light!!!

Getting out onto route 53 between 3-5pm is nearly an impossible task given how much traffic there is....a light would be so helpful!

I come to work, from the north, specifically to avoid having to cross traffic at the Rt 53/Parkview Blvd entrance and leave work at night to the south, again to avoid crossing traffic or turning left from either access point to IL-R53.

This is a very dangerous intersection at rush hour. It is even worse when it rains or snows.

Great idea. So much more traffic on 53 now. There have been too many 'almost accidents' seen as well as accidents. Also would reduce wait time. One person going straight prevents people from making a right. Have had to wait the most was 10 minutes for one car to cross over Rt 53, crazy! Just would feel safer when having to turn into Woodlake. Also, there is a school in handicapped children in Woodlake

I typically wait until after 6:00 PM to leave my office to avoid the traffic and safety concerns of leaving this business park between 4:30 and 5:45. This is time away from family that only a traffic light can change.
