8 years, and a DUI later, Jim Paul is no longer a cancer on the Escambia Country School Board and the district would like to reoccupy Woodham as a technical high school, HOWEVER, they would like to change the name from Woodham, to West Florida High School (a recently created, still running, technical high school in Pensacola)
We must protect the historical name of Woodham. Whether this was your school or not, please sign this petition so we can save the legacy of a school that so many young men and woman called home.

Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...it's woodham high school end of discussion...it's not a restraunt that went out of business it is a historical peice of Pensacola that was forced to be closed by someone with much power and an axe to grind...keep it a middle school before you change the name at least it's still woodham...keep the name
Just because you're moving West Florida Tech into the school doesn't mean that it should be renamed to it; it's Woodham, it's always been Woodham, even when it became a middle school, and it should stay Woodham until they close it up for good. You'll just confuse people calling it West Florida Tech.
Class of 2006! I was part of the battle with Jim Paul trying to take our school away from us. It was heart breaking to say the least and now to hear that they are wanting to rename it is despicable! They need to reopen it as WOODHAM HIGH SCHOOL! Home of the TITANS!
It is sad enough that Woodham High was closed and many students and teachers had to relocate, my daughter was going to be a Senior and went to Washington and hated it. She will never have a class reunion so the least you could do is keep Woodham's name.
I didn't attend Woodham, but had many friends who did. It was a great school and would love to have it keep it's name!

Coached at from 2000 till it closed in 2007,they should have done it talked about, also would still be coaching there if this was done when talk about doing this. Woodham High should have never closed.
