The Women's Graduate Student Association is a new campus organization built around connecting the different departmental women's groups on campus. Our aims are both social and political, as we also aim to make sure that issues of importance to women are represented in our student government. Towards that end, we would like to join the Student Interest Board. The Student Interest Board exists to give diverse perspectives on our campus a place in student government. Please sign if you are a graduate or professional student at UCLA that supports the WGSA joining the student interest board.

Updates

November 8, 2014

The administration has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding our inclusion in the Student Interest Board. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to be presented at the upcoming board assembly to ensure our objectives are officially reviewed.

long overdue. let the wgsa have a voice on the board so they can actually get things done for the women here.
