Can't wait to see where this goes. A great article just came out about Choice Hotels offering paid maternity leave. Hopefully Hyatt isn't far behind.

While this may not benefit me at the time, I am honored to work with amazing co-workers who are even more incredible mothers. If there is anything I could do to help my associates have a better quality of life and to be more financially secure in this expensive resort town, it's my pleasure. Hyatt employees are the best, which means they should have the opportunity to be the best parents without the worry of spending time with baby vs. working to pay rent. It's an honor to work alongside my Hyatt team!

not only a great idea, but a responsibility of such a large corporation. wonderful way for the Hyatt to show their appreciation to their employees and employee's families

Women need time to heal-physically and emotionally-from giving birth and time to bond with their newborn or newly adopted child. European countries are already lightyears ahead of the USA with how much maternity leave is provided, but now Hyatt's competitors are too! This needs to be fixed.

I've already had my babies and wish this had already been in place but I fully support this and hope it goes into affect for all my co-works at Hyatt.

I think this is an awesome benefit. It would also be beneficial for men who are out with their wives during this time.

It would be wonderful if our hotels had the same benefits corporate employees do. I would love to see this change so no one has to have work stress with a new baby. Thanks for your consideration.
