As a result of Central government cutting funds to local government, Camden council is having to make major savings. This will inevitably have a flow-on effect to health and social care in Camden. Women + Health is no exception. Two of our highly successful programmes Caring Breaks service and Caring and Talking Together service (providing much needed health services to Carers) have had their funding cut, and as of June 2011 will no longer be operating. We think the council need to hear how important Women + Health is to its users, and how cutting our funding will affect the people that live in Camden.
