Women for Alabama

This law will kill women.

Please stop revoking women’s rights.

Shocked and appalled.

The Governor and gerrymandered Legislature have done a horrible disservice to the people of Alabama and to the State, itself.

Opposed to this bill.

Well, Alabama has done it again. How low can we go?

In 91970, my best friend was pregnant with no options. Her boyfriend was going to do the right thing, but it was football season at the UofA, and he was in charge of the after game parties. So she waited, until the family doctor insisted she tell her parents. She spent 3+ months at the Salvation Army Home for Unwed mothers. She delivered there-it was a painful birth with no birthing support. She has 5 minutes with her baby. The trauma never left her. She died at age 67. We cannot go back.

I find nothing appealing about the proposed abortion bill. No one opts for an abortion without serious consideration. Leave this up to women.

I believe this is a Choice for the individual . The Elected Individuals do not have a place to make decisions for other health and Body. Please Repeal.!

I am so ashamed of my adopted home state, and if this bill is allowed to go into effect I will be strongly encouraging my teenage daughter to go to college and build a life elsewhere than this backwards, regressive state.

Abortion is not a matter for the State to consider. This is a women's health issue not to be weighed in on by anyone other than a female and her physician. PERIOD

The white male senators of AL voted to subject the women of AL to their prescription for reproductive health care. What an affront to all women to assume they are not capable of making their own reproductive health care choices. Shame on Them!! Government has no place in the decision to continue or abort a pregnancy.

It's not a matter of being embarrassed, it's a matter of being on the wrong side of the issue once again. Our legislature should be focused on making our state a better place for ALL to live with a focus on education, infrastructure, and economy. Focusing on restricting rights is not what they are elected to do. It's an abuse of power and an overreach.

Sad that some people are trying to enforce their opinion upon all women just because they have the power. I feel that as a woman, you have betrayed other women in this state.

This bill is horrible and takes Alabama backwards to the 60's. If you do not need an abortion do not have one but do not take the option away from those who choose that difficult option.

Repeal this bill immediately. It will cost our state economic growth!!

I was raised in world where I thought I could grow up to be whatever I wanted to be. . . that dream no longer exists for young girls. This bill clearly shows that in Alabama, a woman is not capable of making decisions about her own body and thus, by inference, her own life. What a giant leap back in time. Choosing to continue a pregnancy or not should be solely the decision of a woman and her medical provider. It is not for government oversight. I am proudly pro-life AND pro-choice!
