The stories coming in from people who used to skate here remind me why this space was so vital for our community. I have been drafting a proposal to present to the local council that highlights these memories and the clear need for a modern facility.

Seeing this response confirms that our community truly values the history and utility of the Woden skatepark. This momentum feels less like a simple accumulation of names and more like a collective rediscovery of a space that belongs to all of us.

About time. Too many kids just hanging round on the streets with nothing to do. Build it back better.
Woden was the best spot to skate back in the day. My kids need somewhere to go that isnt just a mall. Rebuild it already.
