The toll that virtual learning is taking on our children is far from healthy. In these five weeks the only thing they have learned is to HATE school. Their frustration at this situation is being manifested in anger and depression. Our children deserve more than what the board of education has offered them thus far. Allow them to go back now, it is the board of educations responsibility to return the kids to the classroom with the proper sanitation precautions in place. Invest on what is needed to keep them healthy and protected while in the classroom, not on laptops for virtual learning.

Kids need to be in person learning. This virtual stuff is bs. Especially for us that have young ones and work.

I 100% agree that students are being deprived of their full education with this virtual situation & they need to go back face to face full time!! They are learning absolutely nothing and it’s causing them to be behind with their education, emotionally depressed, stressed out , deprived of a social life etc! . We as parents are also suffering financially and having to hire tutors, additionally we’ve had to come up with money in providing childcare options due to parents still having to work and not being able to stay at home with their children that need to be in a virtual classroom setting. This is absolutely unfair & not ethical at all.

Five days a week face to face is necessary. Get it done.

Reopen now. Everyone else has to do their jobs. Risking the health of grandparents to help with schooling, the careers of parents trying to work, and the mental health of little kids is not "protecting the community "
