Lack of hot water / water at all, having 6 washing machines to share between 500 students (as well as those being faulty very frequently!)

This is a perfectly reasonable request
Students just starting at university should not have to worry about these things when they’re trying to get to grips with their academic work.
The facilities are fairly basic to start with so at least make sure they work properly.

My hot water was working until they tried to 'fix' it, now it's not working which has been for over a week. Someone came to check the showers and only checked the room that is unoccupied. No ventilation in the kitchen which was said was going to be fixed.

The failure of the accommodation is an actual joke. Basic daily functions should be accounted for .

These students are paying customers. Just because they are students that doesn’t mean they should be paying these prices when basic hygiene isn’t even being accommodated!

I agree, I have had no heating in my room for the past 8 weeks, it is ridiculous that we have to pay the full amount for this poor service.

For the amount of rent that is being charged, the service has not been of a sufficiently high standard. I know that this is a new arrangement, but I do think that given the amount of profit being made, the students could have better facilities. Such a shame that things have got this bad.
