I am very interested in this petition as I would like to sell my home goods at Farmer's Markets and businesses without having to have a commercial kitchen...

I support this bill as it would help provide income to those that are not able to afford the use of a commercial kitchen when their foods are just as good or better than those made in restaurants.

This would help a lot of families. But the income limit of $5000 a year is not enough. Calif. is upping their limit from $35,000 to $50,000 per year.

I am for a Cottage Business that allows for Home Bakers to sell their products as mentioned in this bill. I would also like to see that everyone having this opportunity, would have to have a Sanitation Permit from the state. This would teach them the safety of food preparation, and cleanliness in the kitchen.

at least this group is trying to legalize baking in their homes....hair dressers and other trades are doing it all the time...

I am a stay at home mom with the love and drive of baking. If this bill passes it would open up so many doors and opportunities for me and my family. It would allow me to raise my children and do what I have a passion for.

I definitely feel this bill would be very beneficial to WI. What better way to share our "gift" of baking then allowing us to sell our baked goods within our local communities? Please pass this bill and allow us to share our "gift" throughout WI.

I really hope people can recognize the importance of supporting the Assembly Bill #182, or "Cookie Bill" as an amendment to the Wisconsin Food Cottage Law. As an individual who would love to start my own bakery but fear the start-up risk and costs, it offers a great alternative: I can bake out of the comfort of my house, share baked goods and grow as a baker, and have the option to profit from it. Please help pass the Cookie Bill and sign the petition!
