Winter Walk 2019

Loved going to the Winter Walk last year, and would like to continue that tradition into this year as well.

We sincerely hope that you will consider approving the USBID's application, as this annual event has become a cherished tradition as well as a welcome boost to the local economy.

I agree that the close Maiden Lane and Grant Avenue between Geary and Post Streets to all vehicular traffic from November 25, 2019 through January 3, 2020 for Winter Walk 2019 would be a great opportunity for the Union Square shoppers.

This makes such a big difference in how our property is perceived during the holiday season. We all look better with this going on.

Cities around the world celebrate the December holidays by turning streets into people places. Please approve the changes to implement Winter Walk.

I wanted to vocalize my support for the USBID's Winter Walk on Grant between Grant and Post. The positive environment created by having numerous people outside, in stores, and in the square helps improve clients' perception of Union Square. The number one reason we hear from clients that they don't want to come to Union Square as often anymore has to do with the environment not feeling enjoyable. Winter Walk directly combats this feeling and gives people a place to relax and feel a part of the holiday season. I wish it would stay up all year long.

I'm highly supporive of the wWinter Walk. It's a wonderfull for families in visitor to visit our Union squere area on the holydays.

I've been a merchant in Union Square since 1974. Winter Walk has become one of the most popular events in the area, charming tourists and locals throughout the holiday season. I'm adding my voice to have Winter Walk be allowed to continue in 2019.

We need reasons to visit downtown, the retail tenants and community in Union Square are dying
