As the council is digging up the tarmac and then grassing it why can't they put wood chips down and leave the equipment.

Played on this park as a kid, infact, my mum and dad p,ayed on this park as kids !! Equipments been overdue an upgrade for a while anyway, but its still jsed daily !!

This is just ridiculous. My family has used that park for over 30 years, my toddler loves to use it!

My grandparents took me to this park as a very small child & I've taken my children many times in the last 14 years!! Where was the discussion abt removing this park!! Give us our park back!!

Was this really a cheaper option than putting up a sign saying "Concrete floor - children play at their own risk"? Give us back out park!

I use to play on this park over 30 years ago n now my children love going to it n enjoy picnics and playing on the swings n slide and then the grass area we play with the ball n see tge animals in the field it's a small safe park where's my children couldn't get out of and I could watch then all at the same time not like in high lane big park or Marple my self and children r very sad to see this park go we went passed today it was very sad for us all

So silly. im sure they can pay dirty scroungers and low lifes money, not to mention the wages and cost it must of come to fund the demolistion and the wages for workmen...bring home windlehurst park!

So many memories on this park, someone falling off a swing was normal when we were young.
