I think it is disgusting that the council do not regard an outdoor children's play area a matter of priority and importance.

This is how our group got together in 2003 play equipment being removed. By so called "not it all's."........ If your group worked hard to get the funding for this equipment then you had a right to be consulted before it was removed. At least to be give you an opportunity to look for funding for the current standard of safety surfacing. SHAME ON YOU SMBC

The park is a family area! That's now nothing because of the dissicions made without discussing with the local community!

This is a disgrace, typical of the local councils these days. The cost of removal probably comes in far more expensive than resurfacing the playground!!

this park has been a part of many people childhoods and I have promised to take my boys on , as i lived round the corner as a child .. was waiting for 3rd brother to get a bit bigger , he was 3 yesterday and now the parks gone , they are really upset as wanted to go on the same park i did as a child .. please put / replace the equipment xxxx

This is the small scale park in which you would always feel safe, the swings were strong and the slide was the best slide in Cheshire, please bring back the park.
