The BOE should take proactive - responsible action to immediately address the air and radon concerns at Miller-Driscoll. These are our youngest children in the district being affected.

Concerned for safety of our grandchildren and all children at this school. If school does not cooperate, all parents should keep children home until the problem is addressed and fixed.

I fully support this petition. Please put our children to the highest propriety not politics. Thank you.

My children just moved from MD to Cider Mill and I have to question why the administration for all buildings is not identical. If you put our teachers/employees and more importantly our children at risk you should be held accountable for these significant issues.

It is unacceptable that this issue has been festering so long. For the health and safety of our children, teachers and staff at the school, this must be addressed immediately.

The whole Miller-Driscoll story needs a good public airing. Maintenance "deferred" for 7 (maybe 10) years. How was it possible for Dr. Richards to set a 5000ppm standard for Miller-Driscoll. I'm susre there's much more to the story but right now, let's get the target IAQ standard set correctly, the windows opened and the blower system uprgraded.

The individuals who are responsible for festering this gross negligence should be held accountable. As we can see, from the constant denials and push-back, the school officials in charge certainly do not want to address this issue even now, while it is their job to do just that. The law seems to have been broken, and if this is the case, then accountability seems to be in good order. It would be good for our community to repair its image in light of this unfortunate revelation about compromised air-quality at our schools and what looks to be mismanagement of our schools by immediately addressing and resolving these issues. I do believe that the negligence that we are speaking of when we talk about this issue and the resulting damage to our children, teachers, community, and the reputation of our schools will have a negative impact on property values, unless immediate action is taken to resolve the air quality, and have better management in place. We should celebrate as a community those of us who make our community better and raise the standards, by which we all enjoy and benefit from. These are the people who make our town worth moving to!
