This man sounded like a legend at this school and just reading the story , I feel changing the name in his honor would be very special for his family and everyone he has influenced and all his friends ! Do it!!!!!!

Hi Laura, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Just to clarify, we are petitioning to name the technology building at the school he dedicated his entire teaching career to, over 23 years.
He also was part of the process involved in getting the school recognized as a Technology magnet program. The school name, Jeremiah Rhodes Middle, would remain.

Correct I agree, changing a school name , we will have to change it anytime somebody passes away , ?????

Will you do the same for all the great teachers out there in the district, I’m sure he was a good teacher and enjoy doing his job that don’t forget got pay for it , but if you start something make sure you do the same for all great teachers in the district....
