Blackpool and Fylde College finally folded and agreed to save the wildlife photography course. They tried to kill a world-class program but our constant pressure forced them to reverse course. Stay vigilant because we need to make sure they actually follow through on this promise.

This petition aims to show the strength of feeling regarding he colleges decision to, either, axe or suspend the BA(Hons) Wildlife & Environmental Photography course at Blackpool & the Fylde College. This course is rightly considered to be the best of its kind in the UK, if not worldwide. Its previous graduates include internationally renowned photographers, many of whom are award winners. The students regularly gain positive PR for the college with the winning of awards and many 'famous' wildlife pro's have been happy to associate themselves with this course.

The sheer weight of this support shows Blackpool and Fylde College that they cannot just kill this program quietly. They thought they could slash a world-class course without anyone noticing but they were dead wrong.

This course is legendary. Why on earth would you cut something that actually brings prestige to the college? Makes no sense.

Total madness. The standard of work coming out of there is better than any other uni in the UK. Save the course.

Ridiculous decision. This course is the only reason people know about this college in the wildlife field. Keep it running.
