Work usually ends at 5. With traffic this pick-up time is ridiculously unattainable for most poeple. Thank you.

Working parents that end at 5pm would have serious issue getting to pick up by 5;30.
Not everyone can leave early-some work downtown.
Even working in St laurent, 30minutes at rush hour is difficult.
Daycare is for thise people that need childcare so they can continue to work-and shortening the hours does not allow for that.

I do not use the services but it is good to know they are there if I need them. I find it very un-Canadian to place these restrictions on parents without polling those that are affected. Are other schools in the West Island also adopting such practices? All parents should support those that need and pay for these services.

This incentive completely disregards the reality of working parents that do not have the luxury of adapting their hours randomly to the whims of their childrens' school. I feel that if we considering the fact that we must also pay for a "mandatory" activity so that we can go to work on ped days ($25/child to "camp" in the gym), we've entered the realm of the ridiculous. From my experience in other communities in Montreal, none of this would fly.

Ped days should be like any other day where we have until 6pm to get our children. just because it is a ped day does not mean that parents can get to school any earlier than they normally do. thank you

I'm a single working mother, I need the daycare hours to remain 7:00-18:00

Any ideas regarding time change in daycare should only include parents that actually use the service and need it because they work outside the home.

I disagree with the changing of the daycare hours. Whose needs are we trying to accommodate? Parents still need to work.

This action is very disrespectful to the families using daycare. It demonstrates a lack of concern for the established needs of the community it is supposed to serve.

I disagree in the change of daycare times without first notifying all of the parents of WP and letting parents vote for the change.

Parents that signed up gir daycare services should not have these changes made without deeper investigation .

So typical of the WP administration. Removing and downgrading services instead of adding and improving, trying to force change with no communication as opposed to consulting with the actual users.

very inconvenient considering how many ped days there are in a school year

I support the school in every way I can. I was on the street picketing in support of our teachers, I volunteer every chance I get and many parents do the same. I am tremendously disappointed with the GB vote in opposition to our parents, changing the PED DAY drop off and pick up time change. I am looking for your support this time in maintaining the status quo.

perhaps a message telling folks that an effort should be done by the parents to pick up their kids earlier on ped days is fine, but to put a hard time of 5:30pm is unflexible on the part of the school

very inconvenient for parents who work downtown. my office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5. I leave "early" at 4:45 to catch the 4:50 train home. I arrive anywhere between 5:35 and 5:40 depending on weather. and that's assuming the train doesn't stall somewhere. These hours are for everyday weekday..my office does not make exceptions for school PED days.
