Give Wifi back to the Coweta County students.

I fully and gladly support this. If we need to contact our parents, then we should not have to PAY to do it with our OWN data. These days aren't all payphones and crap. No, we should not have to pay to call a parent from school in this day in age.

Remember to share this with every one so we can reach 5,000, and we can reach it if people actually want WiFi back

We can't do EVERYTHING on our chrome books, we need wifi for our other devices and to contact parents?

Wifi is a necessity these days. It is a commodity. Very unfair to offer it for years and then to take it away without notice. County has money to expand bandwidth as needed. Return the wifi to the students. Throttle if necessary, but don't cut it off entirely. Concerned parent that has limited bandwidth on phone company plan.. AwS

I fully agree. We pay too much for schools to withhold wifi from us for research and other school-oriented things.

FREE WI-FI

Taking away the Wi-Fi from our phones is pointless. It is unfair to the students who don't have 3G or 4G on their phones. This seems like a ploy by the school to encourage students to use their Chromebooks instead of their phones. Pathetic

I understand that giving us chromebooks was supposed to be for research and anything else related to school, and thats great, but we shouldn´t not have accsess to wifi on our phones. What if something happens and we are not able to get in touch with our families? Yeah i understand that people abuse it for using social media, but not everyone does. We already have consequences for this reason, so whats the use in taking it away completley. It is absolutley ridiculous.

i need wifi for school projects if teachers are are going to assign them then i need wifi

You can use smart phones for research I have learned some much from co-students who looked up something to prove that the instructor was wrong

to be honest we should be fixing the wifi but we also shoud have wifi as well

I actually don't have a phone so, i use an iPod because i can't pay for a phone. How am I supposed to get in contact with my parents about bus changes if there is not enough wifi? Hm, doesn't make much sense to me does it? Abusing the wifi with social media is one thing to get rid of it but what about the people with no data or phone.. ever thought of that?
