Taking away the school's WiFi has been an extreme hassle as well as a set back for me, as a student, as well as my peers. The school Wifi should be restored because for me, it is hindering my education. While it can be argued that we have the chromebooks and should therefore use them, but stopping students from using the internet on our phones isn't helping the case.
To begin, the school's supply of WiFi for the phones isn't as heavily restricted and therefore, we would result to using them for our personal and popular social media rather than abusing the chromebooks and using them in order to get out what we want to do. It isn't fair to try and seal us out of our own personal devices.
Yes, it is understood that the chromebooks can be used for many things such as research for projects and schoolwork, but what it doesn't do is keep us in contact with our families. Some students do not have mobile data and therefore cannot look to it for help in case of an emergency. You cannot just expect our parents to contact the school and give out emergency information to the student.
My final point on this matter is that you are punishing us as a whole when it is the acts of individuals that caused the assumption that the WiFi is being abused. For the kids that are actually following the school policies and using their phones as needed, you are punishing them for nothing!
I took the time to write this out because I truly and honestly believe that this is unfair. There were already punishments in place to take care of phone abuse. Taking away the WiFi as negatively impacted me, and I use my phone as to my personal needs when it is responsible to do so. Others are finding ways to abuse the chromebooks more and more because of this mess.

What about the kids who don't have data and need wifi to contact their parents and complete things in class when the wifi on YOUR chromebooks doesn't even work?
