Widen the narrow pavement on Burlington Road, New Malden

I definitely support this action to widened the footpath. The whole stretch of pavement is dangerous with numerous businesses using the pavement as access to parking or deliveries, without due care to look for children travelling to and from school.

Drivers on this road are fast and often careless. The safer the pavements are the better.

I have witnessed near miss incident involving a parent with a pram and a car.

Pedestrian safety for everyone but primarily school children. It could also do with much better lighting during the winter months too.

I fully support the expansion of the pavement, yes it is very dangerous for all concerned especially children and the elderly

I fully support the plans to widen the pavements in the location near the Tesco exit. I also support plans to redevelop the adjacent vacant employment land for new employment space and not housing.

As a driver is is frightening to see how close these children are to the traffic.

Please consider moving the railing to shield children from the road.

For safety reasons

I would like to see the pavement widened on Burlington Road near the Tesco exit car park.

I teach at a school nearby and would like this pavement widened for the safety of our students.

I hope this improvement to the pavement can be made very soon.

This is a really dangerous pavement as when I am with my grandchildren taking them to school we are far too near the oncoming traffic.

There are cars that make illegal turn near the pavement as well. It's very dangerous.

The pavement looks very narrow and dangerous.

Save our children please

Way too dangerous at the moment, specially for children with scooters.

The current layout of this busy road is dangerous for all pedestrians.

We live close by and regularly walk to tescos through this entrance. It is very dangerous please make the necessary changes to make it safe.
