As an old time Lakewood resident over 28 years I've seen the town grow and blossom along with growth comes the need for infrastructure to accommodate that growth sadly the infrastructure isn't keeping up with the population growth and what used to be a 5 minute ride has turned into 35 minutes
The states fixing the main artery running thru town ROUTE 9 will go along way to making our town livable as it once was

From a Homeland Security and safety stand point this is a very vulnerable area . With the gridlock on Route 9 I don't see how any emergency vehicle would be able to navigate that road at peak times of the day. I also think Lakewood Township needs to show good faith is slowing up the rapid expansion of the Township until some of the infrastructure, like improving route 9 , at least catches up with the existing demand.
