Not fair,needs a rethink.

The licence fee should be proportionate to the access for widebeams.

We can hardly access any of the waterways.

I can't use much of the system yet I got to pay to use it all

if a canal was built to take wider boats then why should there be a penalty levied on those boats, totaly unfair in my opinion.

This decision was largely driven by narrow boat owners and it is also unfair that wide beams are charged more when only having access to a limited portion of the waterways.

Ridiculous as we can hardly access any of the waterways as it is.

this is very unfair a wide beam boat cannot go on most of the canal but already pays 60% of a full licence but can only go on rivers about 30% of the waterways.

Disgracefully unfair , poor justification for CRT to rip off boaters

We don't no more room up or water use! We use lot less canal yet charged more why? We can't go everywhere. We're only 8 foot six wide hardly a difference. Narrow boats try get in locks with us because they think we're narrow yet we're being charged for what?

Outrageous charging us more, we can’t go on as many canals, there to narrow for our boats

Movement is limited for these vessels.

I fail to understand why wide boats should pay more when they access less. They do no more damage than narrow boats. Widebeam owners contribute so why try to drive them away?

Pay more to use less, why?

If CRT are charging me a premium, I should get a premium canal and this is not the case. All this will achieve is to flush more wide beam boats out of Marinas and onto the canal network as boaters seek to rebalance their budgets.
