We, the Wiccan Community demand an apology and rebroadcast of accurate information about our religion. As an Elder, and of our faith for more than 30 years; a licensed, ordained minister... I found the recent broatcast found at: http://mediamatters.org/mobile/blog/2013/02/17/fox-news-attacks-wiccans/192713 to be of incredibly poor taste and astounding ignorance on the part of Fox News. No wonder they have been dubbed "Faux News". No other legal, recognized religion has been subjected to the uneducated verbage that the alleged news casters spewed forth in this broadcast. I would reccommend that each and every one of them do actual research before they offend so many people belonging to our religion. And I can assure you that I do NOT play Dungeons and Dragons. I am NOT a midwife, although I have been a labor and delivery nurse. And I know all eight holidays of my faith as well as the meaning of each and have previously discussed this in the late 1980s on Atlanta Chanel 11 television. If you support a withdrawal of their offensive verbage, and an apology for all of our faith; please sign and share this petition. Thank you. Lady Gillian Silverlight

I have spent over thirty years serving our community and the blatant ignorance displayed in that broadcast feels like a personal attack on all of us. People are reaching out with their own stories of being misrepresented and it only confirms why we cannot let this go unanswered.

Seeing this level of support reminds me that we will not let our faith be misrepresented or mocked on national television. I am deeply moved that so many people understand why this apology is essential for the dignity of our community.

This was so insulting to watch. Why is it okay for them to just make things up about people? Do better.

Seriously tired of the constant stereotyping. We arent characters in a movie. Get your facts straight.

Fox is a joke. Theyll say anything to get people riled up. Embarrassing journalism honestly.
