Please tell me how any of these chats are offensive. It is part of being a student and what makes student sections fun. People need to learn to not take things to heart. "score board" is in no way offensive. Things that players say on the court to their opponent are worse then the chants from the fans

I think that being able to chant things together pumps up the team and brings the school closer together. If you take this away there will no longer be fun at sporting events. You will just sit there and watch the team. As a sports player it is always a you to see that your student section gets fired up for,you and pushes you to continue to keep playing hard. It creates a "I got your back" relationship between the students and the athletes.

no one hates the other team, the only reason our supporters yell things like this is to spur our team on. It's a give and take between the two student sections. I have tons of friends at other schools, we chirp our teams to death then go get culvers after the game. As a player I feel the same way, trash talk is part of the atmosphere it's going to happen, so don't take it personally
