I joined the Women’s Institute to spend time with women and hear their voices. I do not want to be Party to some man’s need for validation and special feelings. The U3A is a similar group for both sexes. Keep the WI single sex. I will definitely leave if a man joins my group. I have left gender critical comments on the WI page and have now been blocked so we need free speech as well.

I would like to join a women only organisation that advocates for women. I can't join the WI until it decides it is for women.

Biological Men invading women’s spaces again. No thank you. It’s disturbing that women who don’t for what ever reason wish to be around men be it medical, trauma or an option we wish to take must mean single sex groups only. The same must be for men only groups too.

Please let women have some space for themselves. If a trans person joins it becomes all about them. Trans people can set up their own TRans institute if they wish. Why should men who wish they were women be allowed to join? Why should this tiny percentage take preference over 50% of the population.

The Women's Institute is for female people, regardless of their trans identity. It should remain that way.
If male transpeople wish to set up their own organization they can do, but we should be allowed to have organisations run for and by us.

If you're campaigning for single sex spaces; hospital wards etc then same applies to the WI. let men set up their own institute if they want.
It's Women's Institute....adult human females. NOT the Peoples Institute.

By corrupting the definition of what women are, you destroy our ability meaningfully to campaign for our rights and even to discuss our own needs as a group.

I am a 45 year old adult human female. I have always planned to join the WI at some point. There are a couple of strong WI groups local to me. This active promotion of Gender Ideology, without proper consultation with members, has deeply saddened me and put me off ever becoming a member.

No, it should remain a single sex organisation, based on the obvious - women (adult human females) want time away from adult human males, irrespective of how those males identify, behave and dress. I will not join a woman's organisation that does not prioritise my sex over a nebulous concept such as "gender".

I believe that men claiming to be trans who have already joined the WI should not be allowed to stay. I would have joined but became aware that there are men claiming trans status as members so no longer a women’s organisation.

I would love to join the WI but what is the point if there are men in there? Because then it's just the Humans Institute and that negates the entire point. I won't join if men in costume can have the audacity to sit there and think they belong. I am not a doctor. I wouldn't put a white coat on and demand to be let in to a conference of doctors because I feel like one. I am also not a child, therefore I don't try to demand access to Brownies because I like the singing and crafts. It's not my space, not my place. However, I AM a woman and the Women's Institute surely is where I would fit. But apparently not anymore because my being a woman is redundant. So where do I go?

I would love to join the WI and be part of an all-female organisation - such spaces are precious and rare. I won't join while men who wish they were women are prioritised over actual women.
