A Vote on Trans Women Joining Women's Institutes

This is a great development keep fighting the good fight!

This is exactly why I will not join the WI and the Handmaids who made the decision to allow any male with a fetish or mental health issue (neither if which mean they are women) into the WI are woke idiots with internalised misogyny. They are not fit to head a women's organisation.

I am currently a member of a Women's Institute and I do not support transwomen being allowed to join. I will leave the group if this happens #SexNotGender

I have wanted to join for some time but have been put off by the previous statements surrounding biological males.

By women, for women.

I have severe CPTSD. I am unable to be in a close proximity to biological men because of trauma, so I have to self-exclude. So this stance is discriminatory for people like me, where I would, or feel safe if there was a transwoman in the group

I will join if the WI finally returns to being a single sex org.

I works join the WI if it didn't let men in.

I want an organisation that speaks and campaigns for women, not those who identify as them or would like to be women. They have different interests and can have their own group.

Transmen should be welcomed at the WI but not transwomen, as they are male.

Women deserve single sex groups. I have not joined the WI due to their policy of including men.

because my 85 year old mother has been a member of the WI for over 50 years and she appreciates her women only space
