A Vote on Trans Women Joining Women's Institutes

Women’s groups should be exactly that, confined to natal born women.

Keep women’s institute for women (adult human females) only. I’ll only join when this happens

There are so few places where women can meet to have discussions on a wide range of issues without males diluting the female perspective. This is vital for democracy, so, no, men should not be let in. I have yet to see a TW say anything a woman would say.

I would like to join but only if the WI stays true to its history and is a group for real women (adult female humans). I’m not looking for a mixed sex group.

I couldn’t consider joking WI while it includes males however they identify but if you include women however they identify, I would. Please use the exception in EA2010 to clarify that WI is a single sex organisation.

I was interested in joining WI however am put off by refusal to allow members not to believe that women is a feeling in a man's head. Its is not.

I believe the rights of women who are survivors of sexual assault & domestic violence are not being considered by this policy, which has been enacted without consulting membership. A man who identifies as a woman remains a man. There is no way of ensuring predatory men will not exploit the removal of gateways into women’s single sex spaces. Women deserve their own spaces.

I’m not a member any longer whilst men (however they identify) can also be members. We need female only groups.

I would be in favour of genuine transsexuals joining but the whole gender nonsense is ludicrous- how do we tell if someone is a transvestite or a trans woman?

I have been very uneasy about the stance of NFWI on this issue. I’m glad I am not the only one.

Women and girls are a sex class. Men and boys are the other sex class. Keep WI 's female sex

'Transwomen' are male. It would ruin the whole ethos of the WI. Besides, most of them still have male privilage and would tend to take over.

I object to men using WI meetings to indulge their AGP sexual fetish

Important that full membership are given opportunity to decide.
