A Vote on Trans Women Joining Women's Institutes

WI should stay single sex. There a plenty of mixed organisations to join for those who wish to do so.

Let women speak.

I left the WI and we disbanded a very successful group as a result of feeling sidelined my males

I wanted to join, but this policy put me off. It should be for adult human females only.

Have written to EHRC querying the NFWI Policy on behalf of my Institute.

Save women's spaces.

I live abroad so can’t join but I would if I could be sure that men are not allowed to be members. As it stands I would not join. Men who have the delusion they are women could form groups of their own to discuss their special interest. We women are not interested.

Women’s experiences are unique to us. No man can share those experiences, trans or otherwise

I would like to join a WI but will not do so unless it is recognised that sex based rights matter, and males are not allowed to be members. I am already a Soroptomist, they at present remain single sex.

The clue is in the name, WOMEN’s institutes! Men in dresses want to take all our spaces and they can’t have em’!

It is vital that we recognise the difference between biological women and identity politics. Women’s rights are being trampled on for the sake of the feelings of a minority.

Same sex not Gender

Was a member. Women need to keep something of their own please. Things change when men are there even when they identify as women.

Women's organisations need to be primarily for biological women. Trans female activists are infiltrating women's groups and aren't concerned for women's issues. They are jjust concerned about furthering their trans agenda.

I was considering joining but I didn't know trans people were allowed to be members & that's put me right off now. I need women only services, trans people are not the same & they should create their own groups & their own separate services & facilities if they want them and not keep pushing in on ours. They have different needs and I don't want to share spaces with them ever. Current trans members should leave and start their own groups, everything starts small and more would join. I'm not against trans people I have trans family members but they are family and I love them so its not the same. I feel vulnerable and my feelings as a woman should count more than men in female clothing & they are men because most of them don't have the operation & they are dangerous men indulging in fetish behaviour. Trans women will never have the same body/ health issues, they don't have periods, get pregnant give birth or go through menopause, please stop pretending that they do. It's a big lie, if you want to educate people ,tell the truth, transwomen are men. Men do not belong in the WI

Please resist this ludicrous notion that anyone could ever be born in the wrong body. Utter nonsense. Women are all female.
