Highway #1 Bypass around the City of Regina: Why Tower Road?

It's beyond ridiculous and shortsighted to build the bypass through Tower Road

The city is already building houses up to Tower Road. Traffic and highway safety issues will still exist. The bypass should be out to, at least, the Pilot Butte interescetion.

Waste of taxpayers money if this so called bypass isn't moved farther east of city.

I'ts unreal that you start the bypass at towe road. What is the reason you start a bypas less that aquarter mile from city limits at Arcola avenue. This decision seems very suspicious.

Put at Pilot Butte access intersection

The Tower Road solution is ludicris.

A bypass that is still a bypass in 25 or 30 years makes sense. Let's not create a maze that is outdated before it is finished.

I think there should be an injunction until all is revealed and explanations made that are acceptable to the taxpayers of the city and the province.

I am sick of hearing about our governments spending habits. With OUR tax money. I am sick of having all decisions blindsided, with no say from the citizens! It's time we make our own decisions, and hopefully get sask party outta here!

Building the bypass within city limits is ridiculous and dangerous. The Greens on Gardiner is already at Tower Road with roads connecting onto it. The plan is short-sighted, flawed and makes no sense. People need to think into the future and what is best for the city and safety of its residents.

A 'bypass' should bypass the city it is being constructed around, not be within the city limits. To say this is poor planning would be a serious understatement.

This decision is incredibly short-sighted. Does not make sense at all.

Let's reconsider this flawed proposal before allowing development at this location and think of the safety, cost expenditure and long-term functionality impacts that it has. While the improvements are long overdue, an ill-conceived plan is a colossal waste of taxpayers’ money.

I live in Balgonie and commute every day to city for work. This whole Bypass project scares the "****" out of me. I fear for my safety and everyone else who have to drive this stretch of highway. Every day, I see close calls, accidents and more traffic congestion. As taxpayers, we need and deserve a better solution. Brad Wall -I urge you to take a trip out our way during rush hour to see how your residents of Saskatchewan put their lives on the line just so we can earn a living & pay taxes!! Please!! Before any more lives are lost or another person suffers permanent disability, admit that the proposed Highway # 1 project is wrong!!

Needs to go outside the city or else it's not a bypass !!
