I completely and totally agree with this. If someone in my class gets a bad score, our teacher shames them. Also, you can only get a drink of water if you go 50 times over and some people are begging our teacher to give them water. He still doesn't give it to them.
I just did the beep test and I completeled it with an A (120 back and fourths) after doing it I had to go to the office for my terrible asthma. I have been wheezing, coughing, and not being able to speak. This is too much work for children.
This test is cruel. I was forced to take it by my highschool PE teacher and ended up becoming physically ill afterwards. I threw up several times. When i told my pe teacher this she laughed and weight shamed me.
I have bad anxiety and I had an anxiety before and after the test also I didn't have my inhaler and they made me run. A friend of mine and I had anxiety attacks in our gym class because we have social anxiety we were shaking and nervous, also all the people in our gym class were upperclassmen.
Everytime we went through the pacer test at my school at least one kid vomitted after in each class. It pushed most past their physical limits and in a negative manner. It does more harm than help.

I feel uncomfortable running the test, because I feel like I am being judged for not doing as well as other kids. I try my hardest but apparently that is not enough, I have to reach what they think is the correct standard.
