I was talking to some people in the hallway today and they all think the current guest policy is honestly kind of ridiculous when you actually stop to think about it for more than a second. The board is probably going to try to brush this off as some minor student complaint but I have been reading all your comments and it is clear that this is a much bigger deal to everyone than they realize.

I really did not think this would take off like it has when I started typing it out on my phone during lunch. It feels kind of surreal seeing everyone jumping on board because that really proves I am not the only one annoyed by these dance rules, and honestly it makes me feel like we might actually get somewhere with the board.

Many have significant others and or friends who they would want to bring to the dance
People have significant others that are graduates of our school and it's unfair to those people that they aren't allowed to have them.

I should be able to go and have fun w/ the good ppl at whs I go to wadsworth also but am in a lower grade and have many friends in highschool through sports
