H Street NE is the fastest-developing area in Washington, DC. This northern edge of Capitol Hill has seen remarkable development in recent years and many more restaurants, residential and retail developments are expected in the coming months and years as the city completes its landscaping on the street and installs cable cars to provide easy access to Union Station and the rest of DC. Capitol Hill residents have longed for a convenient Whole Foods for years and have too far to go to get to the nearest ones in Dupont Circle and in Virginia.
