If the concern is about liability for food contamination, would it be possible if the containers were first sanitized by a germicidal ultraviolet lamp or something?

I would shop at whole foods if this were permitted at my location. Since it's not, I'll shop at trader Joe's cause it's cheaper.

I can’t even believe WF stopped letting people bring their own containers. Moving backwards just as zero waste living is gaining steam! Stay relevant WF!

Since going lower impact/ zero waste, stores that do not allow me to use my containers have been nixed from my shopping routine; meaning my weekly shopping no longer occurs at whole foods. We should all strive to do better!

Whole Foods, of all places, shpuld be moving away from single-use plastics. Instead, we are seeing a regression.

Contaminating the earth with more and more plastic packaging is foolishness. 2p years ago, people could bring their own containers to shops. They din’t have half the diseases that happen now due to plastic contaminating our soil and water.

Buying dry produce/salad, veg & fruit with no packaging or reusable / easily recycleable containers would make a massive difference
