We the undersigned petition Barnet Council to reject the planning application to demolish the former White Bear Pub in The Burroughs Conservation Area in order to replace it with flats. We urge the Council to retain the original, centuries-old building and use of the White Bear. The building should be deemed a community asset and used for that purpose, for the community as a pub, cafe, eating place or arts centre.
