Its a critical matter of safety

This is an accident waiting to happen. When the level crossing gates are down, there are many vehicles and children/parents waiting to cross the line. Inevitably when the gates rise, everyone wants to get across as quickly as possible. This leads to pedestrians and vehicles in very close, dangerous proximity. A footbridge would solve the problem and I urge you to address this issue as soon as possible.

It would also improve access to Barnes Hospital for those not in cars.

It would save me endless waits in the cold.

This is a busy route with many parents and children. The crossing can be down for long periods of time increasing the amount of pedestrians as well as the amount of frustration to both pedestrians and motorists. All of whom rush across when the crossing opens. A bridge would reduce the risk of a serious accident.

Frequently use crossing as motorist and pedestrian and clear from both perspectives, a footbridge is essential to reduce risk of accident. Patience runs thin from both categories increasing danger.

Often visit friends in Barnes or Barnes Healing Church by bus to Priests Bridge. And wait a long time to cross. A bridge would be really helpful.

Very dangerous around 8.45 when crowds of children and parents need to cross both ways on the journey to local schools. Recently have seen 2 people cross or attempt to when the gates were down Had to shout Stop to a young girl with Down's syndrome or she would have been killed

There,is a need for a footbridge at the White Hart Lane level crossing due to pedestrians including school children , trying to cross at the same time as cars and heavy vehicles without the use of a footpath. The road turnings either side of the crossing cause a danger to pedestrians as vehicles wait to push out into the traffic to cross .

The safety of children comes before these modest costs and overlooking houses is a spurious and out of order objection which applies to every footbridge over every urban rail line.

It is on my regular running route. It is tricky trying to avoid oncoming vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians when the gates open.

Indeed an excellent idea and for a change for the public that have to cross daily, not just cars.

Better to have a footbridge than an accident.

It's a very busy and confused crossing, made worse by cars coming out of or going into North and South Worple Way. Advertising at the bottom of the steps would help pay for it, if prices are kept within the means of local traders.
