A pedestrian footbridge is absolutely essential infrastructure at this very busy railway crossing and road junction on White Hart Lane, it would without doubt ease the ever increasing pedestrian congestion at the level crossing, and help ease the high stress levels encountered whilst waiting patiently for the barriers to finally decide to go up!

Now the trains are coming so very often this is even more essential, barrier down for over 30 minutes today an 9 trains passed in that time before I left and went around. About 75 Cars most with engines running should also be taken into consideration and a protocol for informing the railway management installed.

If the council persists in the insanity of a school on the level crossing, a footbridge will be a planning requirement , unless the council has totally lost touch with reality

very much needed especially as it is close to local schools. parents and young children are having to wait a considerable time in poor weather.

Having lived on White Hart Lane for 16 years the frequency of trains has trebled, so the barrier down for longer and more often, which is a nightmare if you have an appointment the other side of the track. Also the number of near miss car accidents is very high,as drivers put their foot down when they see the lights flashing. It's imperative to have a footbridge before someone is killed or maimed...please help us here in this lovely part of London.

When permission is sought from the Council for various housing developments, a levy should be charged if permission is given that contributes to local infrastructure such as a footbridge.

A bridge is neede to cope with volumes of pedestrians. Also reduce the incidence, hopefully, of those who try to race the barriers as they come down, or, worse still, climb the barriers and run across the track despite trains approaching on the track. This happens sometimes att night.

I am usually in a car on White Hart Lane, but not always. I have long been struck by the length of time pedestrians have to wait: a bridge would be a fine amenity.

It is utterly unacceptable that Network Rail have not thought of this to benefit its community before now; yet we the residents suffer for 10 sometimes 20 minutes whilst we wait for trains to pass- making life unbearable for residents, at times I've stood with toddler and watched frustrated pedestrians jump over the barrier! Absolutely frightening...
