White picket fences are clean and the dream of American home ownership . Nothing looks better than a pretty white fence and many are incredibly expensive.

Instead of going after homeowners who take care of their property, why don't they do something about the homeowners who have trash cars that haven't moved an inch in 2 years or the yards cluttered with junk, old appliances pushed up against the houses so not visible from the street and old, dilapidated recreational paraphernalia just strewn around the yards. White picket fences are not an eyesore....the garbage described above goes unnoticed by our city leaders. Pathetic!

Ridiculous!! I’ve had mine for 20 years, grandfathered in by an employee named Buddy years ago. I’d sure rather see a clean well-kept white picket fence than these weathered and rotted wood fences. What happened to the American dream of a happy home, white picket fence, apple pie?? I guess Big Brother lives among us!!

There hundreds of homes that have major violations in Bella Vista. Derelict cars, high grass/weeds, parking in yards, etc.
